The peeling performs a natural exfoliation of the epidermis and dermis to erase all visible imperfections on the skin. The penetration of the active product (glycolic acid, salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid, etc.) depends on the areas to be treated and the phototype.
Treatment: Treat skin imperfections
A very large number of problem areas can be treated with the peeling technique:
- Dull complexion (brightness of the skin)
- Dilated pores
- Loss of tone in the skin
- The signs of skin aging, crumpled skin, wrinkles and fine lines)
- Dark circles
- Oily skin and acne.
- Scars (accidental and post-operative scars, acne scars)
- Hyperpigmentation (brown spots)
- Red stretch marks
The course of the session
The doctor applies a chemical substance to the skin in order to cause limited and controlled destruction of the epidermis or even the superficial and deep layers of the dermis.
He chooses the concentration of the active ingredients of the peeling according to each patient.
- Female or male skin: Women skin is thinner and more delicate than male skin which is thicker and less flexible
- Young or mature skin: Before age 45, we are in a process of maintenance and prevention. Beyond that, the skin requires a deeper treatment to regain its radiance
- Light, tan or dark skin: There are treatments today that can treat all pigmentations without risk but not for all problem areas

The three stages of a peel
Fifteen days to one month before the session, the patient applies a cream on the face that prepares the skin to facilitate the penetration of the active product and avoid a possible rebound pigment.
After having cleansed the face, the doctor applies the acid solution and lets it activate between a minimum of thirty seconds and a maximum of two minutes. When the skin starts to blush and tingle, he rinses the face with water.
After the session, the patient applies a cream for three to seven days to protect, repair and soothe the skin.
The aftercare
The side effects vary according to the peeling:
- No social restrictions with Mask Peel, Milk Peel, Cosmo Peel and Lightening Peel
- Slight redness persists for a few hours with Yellow Peel and Mela Peel
The results
At the superficial level, dead skin cells are removed and replaced by younger cells. The face finds a radiant complexion and all the apparent imperfections are erased.
At the medium level, the chemical active agents act on the dermis selectively depending on the skin problem to be treated.
